HOW WE CHARGE

The Law Office of Gary L. Henry primarily charges an hourly rate for the amount of time we spend on legal matters.  The hourly rate depends on a number of factors, such as the difficulty and novelty of the issues to be addressed, the risks and potential outcomes of the representation, and the amount of time that will need to be devoted to your legal matter.  In most cases, we require a retainer or security deposit at the outset of the representation.

Some legal matters are handled on a contingency fee basis, which means that the attorney's fees charged are based on the amount you recover.  Though you would still be responsible for any costs or expenses relating to your matter, we would not charge a fee unless you obtain a recovery.

In certain circumstances, we are willing to discuss special fee arrangements.  For example, we may be willing to charge different rates for different phases of a case or charge a flat fee for handling a matter.

In the end, the fees we charge will be the result of an agreement between us and you.  Do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any questions or concerns you may have with regard to your billings or our fees.
